The data retention timer is a timer on a candidate's or prospect's profile that notifies users in your organization when it is time to delete their personal data. The data retention timer starts when a candidate or prospect is rejected from all job applications or prospect posts. You can change the timer's end date for individual candidates or prospects.
Note: It's not possible to edit the data retention timer for candidates or prospects in bulk.
To edit the data retention timer for a single candidate or prospect, navigate to the candidate or prospect profile and click Edit on the data retention timer at the top of the page.
In the provided field, enter a new end date for the data retention timer.
When finished, click Save.
Note: Altering the data retention timer for a candidate will log an Activity Feed entry to record the change.
