Every Greenhouse Recruiting user account has at least one associated email address that is used for logging into the system and for email communication. In this article, we will cover how to update/add an email address to another user's account.

Primary vs Secondary Email Addresses Overview
For any given Greenhouse Recruiting user account, we support a single primary email address and one or more secondary email addresses (non-primary email addresses). Please refer to the below chart regarding how primary and secondary email addresses are used in Greenhouse Recruiting:

Add Email Address to Another User Account
Click the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Users from the left-hand panel.
From the subsequent list, select the user account where you wish to add another email address.
On the Edit User page, locate the Email section, then click Add another email.
Use the provided field to input another email address. When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
Greenhouse Recruiting will send a verification email to the newly added email address. The owner of the email address should click the included verification link and input their password on the subsequent page to verify the new email address.
Note: If a non-primary email address is ever edited, Greenhouse Recruiting will send an additional verification email to verify the edited email address.
Edit Primary Email Address for Another User Account
To change the primary email address associated with another user's account, navigate to the Edit User page (Configure > Users > User Name).
From the Email section, click the radio icon under the Primary column inline with the email address that will be the primary email address for the account.
When finished, navigate to the bottom of the page and click Save.
