RefNow allows your organization to request detailed reference check reports for your candidates. Using RefNow's online platform allows you to collect more data and spend less time chasing up references compared with traditional referencing.
Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with RefNow allows you to seamlessly add a RefNow Reference Request Check to a job's interview plan.
Enable the RefNow integration
To start, contact the RefNow Support Team (email@example.com) to receive your API key.
Once Greenhouse Technical Support receives your API key via SendSafely, we'll email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and that your integration is enabled.
Use the RefNow integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
Add RefNow to your job's interview plan
Once the integration is enabled for your organization, you'll be able to add RefNow Reference Request as an interview stage.
To do this for an existing job, navigate to your job (Jobs > Job Name) and click Job Setup > Interview Plan.
Click + Add a Stage. Select the RefNow Reference Request stage.
When finished, click Add.
Hover over the stage to select Edit, and then select the assessment and assign graders for the test.
Send and review the test
When candidates are moved into the RefNow Reference Request interview stage, Greenhouse Recruiting will display a Send Test link on their candidate profile.
When sending the test, provide the candidate's email and select which question profile applies to the job the candidate is applying for.
Click Send Test, and the candidate will receive an email to initiate the RefNow Reference Request process.
Once the candidate and references have responded to the reference request, the report will be available for viewing within Greenhouse Recruiting on the candidate profile.
On the candidate scorecard / interview kit, click View Report to be taken to RefNow for full results.
