How can we help you?

Birch

Birch is an online marketplace for college & university students in Ireland looking for their next internship or post-graduate job. Students build a profile that helps them stand out, providing recruiters with a full picture as to who the student is and what their strengths are. Employers posting a job on Birch can easily define their audience by fields such as University, languages, job functions, location, and much more.

Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Birch allows users to source, access, engage, and track candidates from Birch. In this article, we will cover how to:

Configure the Greenhouse/Birch Integration

To configure the Greenhouse/Birch integration, navigate to your Birch employer account and click Settings > Integrations.

Click Authenticate with Greenhouse and follow the directions to authorize the integration.

Once the integration is authorized, you will be redirected back to the Birch integrations tab. If the authorization was successful, the button will change in color and will display the option to Disable Greenhouse Integration.

Link New and Existing Jobs with Greenhouse

With the integration enabled, you can now create or update a job in Birch and link it to a job in Greenhouse.

Navigate to Jobs > New Position if creating a new position. Here you will now see a dropdown list of jobs already in Greenhouse. Select one of these and your position will now be associated with the relevant job in Greenhouse.

Automatically Send New Candidates to Greenhouse

Once a position is published, Birch's matching engine will begin matching relevant candidates. A candidate who applies to a Greenhouse linked position will have their information pushed into Greenhouse Recruiting.

When Birch sends a candidate to Greenhouse Recruiting, Birch provides the following information:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
