Welcome experiences are customizable pages arranged in a particular order used to welcome new hires to your organization and introduce them to their onboarding team.
Greenhouse Onboarding provides six default pages to help you get started. You can delete welcome experience pages at any time, but these pages can't be retrieved once they're deleted.
If you've deleted your default pages and want to refer to the original content we provided, use this article to copy and paste default content into new welcome experience pages.
Welcome onboard!
Welcome [First name]!
Over the next few pages, we’ll introduce you to some of your coworkers, gather a little more information about you, and tell you about what you can expect next.
You'll receive a few reminders as you approach your start date to come back and fill in any missing information. We are so excited for you to join us on [Start date].

A few pieces of information
A few pieces of information
We'll keep it simple, but we need a few details about you before you start!
It's extremely important to submit your information as soon as possible, as delays may adversely impact your onboarding experience – specifically your system and software access during your first week in the office.

Next steps
Next steps
In the next few days, you'll receive some emails from our onboarding system that will contain a set of tasks assigned to you. These tasks are designed to help you stay on top of action items prior to your start date and throughout the start of your journey here.
To view your assigned tasks and mark them as complete, access them directly from your email or by logging into your Greenhouse Onboarding dashboard.
We want every employee to feel excited to embark on their journey, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions in the meantime! As a reminder, you're able to come back to this site at any time to submit your required information or review these pages again.

Lastly, a few tips...
Tell us what you're thinking.
We hired you because we think you're brilliant. We want you to challenge us to be the best we can be, especially if that means you think there's a better way to do something. We care more about outcomes than being right.
Ask questions.
Interruptions are not nearly as tragic as misunderstandings. Everyone on the team is happy to help support you in your work and in your learning.
Enjoy your time here.

Ideas for additional content
Your first day
Give your new hire an idea of how the first day will look. If they work in-office, who will meet them in the lobby? What meetings will they be attending? Who will they be meeting? If they work remotely, who will they be meeting with on their first day?
Where to grab coffee or lunch
Let your new hire know some good places to grab coffee or eat around the office. If there's shared food in the office, let them know about any kitchen policies. If your organization provides lunch, share some common menu items to give them an idea of what to expect.
What to wear
If your new hire will be working in-office and isn't familiar with the company dress code, let them know what's expected in your office. Feel free to add an image to give them a real-life example to pull from.
Remote work etiquette
Working remotely? Include some of your organization's tips and tricks for collaborating remotely and what new hires should expect in remote meetings.
Benefits FAQ
Answer some common questions about benefits, such as:
- When and where will the new hire sign up for benefits?
- What kind of benefits are provided?
- What is the sick leave policy?
- What is the PTO policy?
Holiday calendar
Let your new hire know what days of the year the office is closed.
