In this article, we will cover the Application Review inclusion nudge that, when activated, helps your organization maintain inclusive and diverse practices while reviewing applications. Working with our partners at Paradigm and our academic advisory board, Greenhouse has provided the copy for the behavioral nudge. 

Nudges are timely reminders that help modify behaviors by helping employees remember to engage in efforts to disrupt unconscious bias and promote inclusion. To learn more about bias-reducing behavior, click here.

Add Inclusion Nudge during Application Review

When this toggle is enabled, a non-intrusive nudge display to recruiters and hiring managers during application review. This prompt will encourage users to consider diversity in real-time when reviewing applications.

When nudges are enabled, recruiters and hiring managers will see an additional panel when reviewing applications that reminds them to rely less on snap judgments and encourage the reviewer to consider the attributes outlined for the role.
