Greenhouse Recruiting has a robust integration with Workday to support a wide variety of use-cases.
Import positions from Workday when creating new jobs in Greenhouse Recruiting
For companies that manage positions in Workday, this data can be pulled into Greenhouse Recruiting and used to create new hiring plans. This can be done in one of two ways: either using a Workday RaaS (Report-as-a-Service) or by using Greenhouse Harvest API. A brief summary of each option can be found below.
Workday RaaS (Report-as-a-Service)
By exposing the Workday available for hire report, Greenhouse Recruiting can import the appropriate Workday positions (with their metadata and custom fields). This integration is implemented using in-app functionality built for the Workday 'available for hire' report, and allows Greenhouse Recruiting users to import Workday positions when they are ready using our default job creation workflow.
Greenhouse Harvest API
Using Greenhouse's Harvest API, your team can import Workday position data and create the Greenhouse Recruiting hiring plan entirely using the API. Greenhouse Recruiting users will see the new jobs populated with job details from Workday on their dashboards when they sign into their accounts.
Sync hired candidates and new jobs from Greenhouse Recruiting to Workday
When a candidate is hired, Greenhouse Recruiting can export all relevant data about them. This includes candidate details, job details, and offer details, as well as any custom fields. You'll then be able to load this exported data into Workday to create the pre-hire and employee records.
Maintain custom field parity between Greenhouse Recruiting and Workday
For fields with a list of many available option values that may be changing frequently (like supervisory org), Greenhouse Recruiting can automatically sync the option values for this field using a feed from Workday. This way, all the values available to fill the field will be kept consistent between the two systems automatically.
