Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Talegent enables you to seamlessly use the two products together to add an assessment to your interview pipeline.
Enable the Talegent integration
Contact Talegent to request your Talegent API key at clientsupport@talegent.com.
Once you've received your API key, fill out the form at www.greenhouse.io/asksupport or click here to open a ticket.
Note: Don't send the API key in this initial email. Greenhouse Technical Support will respond with a SendSafely link for you to securely share your API key.
Once Greenhouse Technical Support receives your API key via SendSafely, we'll email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and that your integration is enabled.
Note: To verify your identity, Greenhouse Technical Support might request you provide a support verification code before adding the API key to your organization's account.
Use the Talegent integration
Add the Talegent assessment stage
To add the stage to your interview plan:
Navigate to a specific job, and click Job Setup.
Click Interview Plan.
Click Add Stage.
Select Talegent, and click Add.
Configure the assessment stage
Once the stage has been added, click Edit Take Home Test.
You'll see the assessments that you’ve previously set up in Talegent. Select the appropriate assessment, assign at least one Greenhouse Recruiting user to grade and review the submitted assessment, then click Save.
Note: All configurations of the assessment itself, as well as the email template, will need to be set up in Talegent. When you click Send Test in Greenhouse Recruiting, the assessment is actually sent by Talegent.
Send the Talegent assessment
When candidates are moved into the Talegent Assessment stage, Greenhouse Recruiting will display a Send Test link.
The status of the assessment will be viewable in Greenhouse Recruiting:
- Take Home Test to be sent.
- Waiting for candidate to submit test
- Scorecard due from <DESIGNATED_GRADER>
Review the assessment results
Once the candidate has submitted their test, the interview kit will contain a link to view the submitted test on Talegent.
