Overview of changes

To improve reporting on job post locations and candidate data, we are introducing the following updates to the Business Intelligence Connector:

Job post locations table

• A new job_post_locations table will be added on February 19, 2025.
• This table will support job posts with multiple locations, improving accuracy in reporting.
• We recommend updating any references to job post locations in your reports to use this new table as soon as possible.

Deprecation of job post location field in job_posts table

• The location field will be removed from the job_posts table on May 21, 2025.
• This change ensures all job post location data is centralized in the job_post_locations table.

Preferred name column in Candidates table

• A new preferred_name column will be added to the candidates table on March 19, 2025.

Required action

• If your reports or dashboards rely on candidate name fields, consider updating them to use the new preferred_name column in the candidates table by March 19, 2025.
• If your reports or dashboards reference the location field in the job_posts table, update them to use the new job_post_locations table before May 21, 2025 to avoid disruptions.
