Cake’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows Greenhouse users to seamlessly cross-publish job postings from their Greenhouse account to Cake with a single click. The jobs will be visible on Cake's job board and the corresponding company’s job page on Cake.
Additionally, as jobs are synchronized daily, any modifications made to the job postings on Greenhouse will be automatically reflected in the corresponding listings on Cake, ensuring updates and consistency in information.
When job seekers view the job listing on Cake and click the 'Apply' button, they will be redirected to the original job posting on Greenhouse to submit their application. This streamlined process enhances efficiency in recruiting and candidate management.
Retrieve your job board URL
To make your open jobs available to Cake, you’ll need to send your job board URL.
You can find your Job Board URL by navigating to the Job Board settings. (Configure > Job Boards & Posts > Ellipsis icon next to job board > Edit Board Settings) and scroll to the URL field.
Copy this URL as you’ll need in the next step.

Book a meeting with the Cake Business Team
In Cake, under Company > Settings, there's a section for Third-Party Job Board Integrations. To enable Greenhouse integration, click "Contact Our Consultant" and book an online meeting with our Business Team members.
Once a Cake Business Team member has turned on the integration for you, continue the rest of this article for setup.
Notes:
- You can only sync your job postings from one Third Party Job Boards platform at a time.
- When you activate the Greenhouse integration, any updates (including modifications or new postings) on Greenhouse will sync to Cake within 24 hours.
- You can edit or manage the status (including hiding or pausing) of the job postings directly on Cake. However, any updates on Cake will not sync back to Greenhouse.
Enter job board link in Cake
Paste the code of Greenhouse onto the box. Job postings will appear on Cake within 24 hours. (Please note that only the Company page's Owner and Admin can activate this integration).
Note: The syntax of the code that should be pasted from Greenhouse to Cake will always be https://api.greenhouse.io/v1/boards/{{**accountname**}}/jobs?content=true
For example, the code for a company with the name Cake would be https://api.greenhouse.io/v1/boards/cake/jobs?content=true
Once integrated, you will see the job posting be flagged as "Reposted from Greenhouse".
Job seekers will also be informed that the job is a repost.
Create a tracking link for Cake
You can track the candidates attributed to Cake by creating a custom source and tracking link for the integration.
To create a custom source, log in to Greenhouse, go to Configure > Custom Options > Sources
Click Create New Source, select Third-party boards as the Sourcing Strategy, name the source "Cake" and click Create Source.
Now, navigate back to Configure > Job boards, and click the ellipses button to to the right of the job board and select Tracking Link in the dropdown menu
Select Cake in the Who gets credit field (optional). Additionally, select Cake in the Source field. Click the Create Link button and copy the link.
Enter the tracking code into Cake
Paste the code into Cake company page > Settings > Greenhouse Jobs Integration. Click Activate.
Note: The syntax of the code will always be href="https://grnh.se/%7B%7Btoken%7D%7D"https://grnh.se/{{token}}
If you've completed the integration beforehand, click Pause sync first, and then paste the code and click the Activate button.
Find candidates who applied through Cake
Once your integration is set up, you can open the All Candidates page and select Cake under the Third Party Job Boards section of the Source filter.
