Codejudge is a code assessment platform that enhances pre-employment testing with real-world project-based coding assessments and data-driven reports. It allows recruiters to automate skill assessments and organize hiring contests, hackathons, and live coding interviews, effectively assessing candidates' technical skills.

Codejudge’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add Codejudge’s assessment to a job's interview plan.

Enable the Codejudge integration

Generate API key on Codejudge

To activate Codejudge integration, you’ll have to generate an API key on Codejudge.

Log into your Codejudge company account and open the settings. 

Navigate to the Integrations section and click Generate API Key on the Greenhouse tile.

Click Copy API Key.

Once you have your Codejudge API key, click here to open a ticket with Greenhouse Support.

You will receive a SendSafely link from the Greenhouse support team. Click on the link and enter the API key you’ve configured on Codejudge. 

Once you’ve set up your interview plans and configured your take home test, you’ll be able to send the test to candidates.

Use the Codejudge integration with Greenhouse Recruiting

Once the Codejudge integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the Codejudge assessment as an interview stage.

You can send an assessment to a candidate by selecting the Send Test button next to the interview stage.

Note: When you send a test in Greenhouse Recruiting, the instructions are actually sent by Codejudge.

After it has been sent, an assessment’s status will be displayed in Greenhouse Recruiting.

Once the candidate has submitted their test, the Interview Kit will contain a link to view the submitted test in the Codejudge application. 

To see a candidate’s results in Codejudge, click View Report .
