GoodTime is the leading interview logistics platform that makes interviews effective for everyone with AI and automation. 

Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with GoodTime helps your team save time by automating interview scheduling while providing a world-class candidate experience from the very first touchpoint. GoodTime uses Greenhouse Recruiting's Harvest API to do the following: 

  • Sync candidate information between Greenhouse Recruiting and GoodTime
  • Sync a list of job applications / application stages for each candidate to properly assign the correct interview kits 
  • Create interview kit links to share with interviewers on calendar invites
  • Import the Recruiter and Coordinator assignments for each candidate from Greenhouse Recruiting to GoodTime

Configure User Setup Permissions in Greenhouse Recruiting

In order to enable the Greenhouse Recruiting / GoodTime integration, you will need the developer permission Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials.

Contact a Greenhouse user in your organization with Site Admin level permissions with the additional user-specific permission Can edit another user's advanced permissions to apply the API credential management permission to your account. Have the user with Site Admin level permissions edit your user account's permissions by navigating to the Configure icon Configure.png > Users > Your Name.

The user with Site Admin level permissions should navigate to the Permissions panel on your user page and expand the Developer Permissions dropdown menu. 

Select Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials so a check is in the checkbox. When finished, click Save.

Repeat as necessary for any other user that should have access to set up the integration.

 

Create Harvest API Key for the Greenhouse Recruiting / GoodTime Integration

To create a Harvest API key for the integration, click the Configure icon Configure.png in the upper right-hand corner. Navigate to Dev Center on the left-hand panel.

From the Dev Center page, click API Credential Management.

From the API Credential Management page, click Create New API Key to generate the API key for GoodTime.

From the Create new credential dialog box, give your API key a name and select Harvest from the Type dropdown menu. When finished, click Create.

On the Manage API Key Permissions page, grant your GoodTime Harvest API key the permissions listed below. When finished, click Update.

Your Harvest API key for the Greenhouse Recruiting / GoodTime integration is created and configured. From the API Credentials page, copy the Harvest API key and save it to provide to GoodTime using the steps in the next section.

Provide Harvest API Key to GoodTime

Navigate to GoodTime and scroll down to the Integrations section. Select Greenhouse as the ATS type, then paste your copied Harvest API into the API Key field.

Click Save at the top right-hand side of the page, and you are finished. Congratulations! 

Note: GoodTime offers a Chrome extension, which adds an Open in GoodTime button on candidate profiles in Greenhouse Recruiting. The Greenhouse Recruiting / GoodTime integration does not require the installation of this extension, and will function without it.
