What is the Pipeline History and Pass Through Rates report (previously called Pipeline report)?

The Pipeline History and Pass Through Rates report is the first Greenhouse feature to take advantage of Milestones! Click here to see how they work.

You probably have thousands of candidates, but where exactly can you find them? Do they get caught up in app review limbo for weeks at a time, or do they breeze through the pipeline before getting stuck at a take-home test indefinitely? The Pipeline History and Pass Through Rates report lists every stage from each of your jobs and offers some handy, high-level information about each one.

Pass Rate shows what percentage of candidates were in a particular stage who were then moved to any other stage (even backwards to a previous one), and Total Hours gives you an idea of how long you spend on candidates in each stage by computing the sum of the Interview Time field on all of your scorecards. This can be handy in deciding whether you're wasting too many hours interviewing candidates early in the process who aren't making it very far through the pipeline.

How can this report be filtered?

The Pipeline History and Pass Through Rates report can be filtered by Department and Office (located right next to your company name), as well as Job and Date Applied. You can also click the blue numbers in each column to see the candidates associated with each field or use the toggle at the top to switch between viewing the report by Stages and viewing it by Milestones

    Hi,

When you want to track candidate pass-through rate in accordance to that particular month rather than the date that they applied, is there a report that can be filtered according to this?

    Thanks,

    Rebecca

When you click the blue numbers in the Pipeline Report you are taken to the Candidate Search screen with the criteria "candidates that reached XYZ stage" applied. Which filter do you use on the Candidate Search screen directly to search on "candidates that reached XYZ stage"?

    Hi Rebecca,

    Thanks for writing in!

Currently, the only report with a pass-through rate is our Pipeline report. This report can only be filtered by Date Applied.

Let us know if there is anything else we can help with!

    Thanks,
    Olivia

    Hi Jeremy,

Happy to help! Currently, we do not have a filter on the candidates tab for 'Candidates that reached XYZ stage'. The best way to view this list of candidates would be from the clickable number on the Pipeline report.

Let us know if you have any additional questions!

    Thanks,
    Olivia

    Hello,

How is the total hours actually calculated? I know it says it's measured by scorecard submitted, do you mean that however long the scorecard said the interview was, is calculated? For instance, if each interview is 1 hour, then the time should match the candidate number, so I'm trying to explain for a variance.

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for writing in! Each interview kit has an 'Estimated interview time' that can be edited from Job Setup>Interview Plan>Edit interview kit. The Total Hours is calculated using this estimated time from submitted scorecards.

Please feel free to reach out to support@greenhouse.io with any additional questions!

    Thanks,

If one candidate has multiple applications on different jobs, then each of the application will be counted as one candidate, right?

    Hi Chengjia,

Thanks for writing in! Correct! If a candidate has multiple applications on different jobs, each application will be counted separately in this report.

    Thank you!

    Thanks Olivia, that's helpful.
Just want to make sure, the pass rate calculates applications that have been and have passed through the stage, including being moved back to the previous stage. What if I move the application to another job that has the same stage? does that count as a pass?

    Hi Chengjia,

    Happy to help!

Yes, the pass rate includes candidates that have been moved from a stage, even back to a previous stage. Moving an application from one job to another would not count as a pass since they did not pass this stage and are being move to a different pipeline.

Feel free to write into support@greenhouse.io with any additional questions!

    Thank you,
    Olivia
