Number of hires report

The number of hires made in a given period can be a strong indicator of how your recruiting team(s) are performing. With the Number of Hires report, your organization can easily drill into your hiring information to see how many new employees were hired per job, department, and/or recruiter. In this article, we will provide an overview for:

To navigate to the Number of Hires report, click the ellipsis icon Ellipsis.png on your navigation bar and select Reports from the dropdown menu.

From the Reports page, navigate to the Share Progress with Executives section and click Number of Hires.

The Number of Hires report will populate hires made for every job where you have the appropriate permissions.

 

Number of Hires Report Filters

The Number of Hires report can be filtered by Job, Recruiter, Source, or Department. Filter your report by any of these criteria by using the Rows dropdown menu.

Use the Columns dropdown menu to change the periodization of the report to understand recent and historical hiring trends.

By default, the Date Hired for the report is set to Current Year and will display the 12 most recent weeks for all jobs included in the report. Use the Date Hired dropdown menu to delimit the date range scope of the report. 

Note: If there are not yet 12 weeks in the current year, the report will default to the last 12 weeks of the previous year. Additionally, the report can display a maximum of 12 columns regardless of the periodization and/or date range selected.

Change the jobs being tracked in your report by clicking Change Filter. From the Filter Jobs dialog box, you can search and apply multiple filters to find jobs you would like to report on. When you have chosen all the jobs you would like to report on, click Save.

When finished applying filters, click Apply to repopulate the report.

 

Number of Hires Report Visualization

The Number of Hires report will visualize the Total row values as a single line with the number of hires displayed on the y-axis and the periodization (columns) on the x-axis.

Note: The Number of Hires report does not support individual trend lines per row.

Hover over any data point in the visualization for an exact number of hires made for that period.

Since the visualization displays data for the Total row in your report, changes made to your report via the filter panel can impact the visualization (e.g., filtering out a job or changing the periodization of the report might generate a new visualization).
