Number of Hires Report

How many hires did we have in a given period? -- It's a simple question, but one that, until now, wasn't always the easiest to answer.

With the Number of Hires Report, you can easily slice and dice your hiring information to find out how many new employees you have per job, department, or recruiter. Meanwhile, you can adjust the scope of the report to help you better summarize and track progress over time!

How can this report be filtered?

The Number of Hires report can be filtered by Department and Office (located right next to your company name), as well as Job and Date Hired. Separate from that, you can change the view to summarize your data by DepartmentJob, and Recruiter to give you flexibility in comparing where your hires are coming from, and by Week, Month, Quarter, or Year to help you understand both the big picture and more specific trends.

Note:  When filtered by Month, the New Hires Report can only display up to 8 months at any given time.

How do you define new hire? Is it when we mark an offer as accepted?
Thus, date hired = new hire date = offer accepted date?

Is this designated by hired=start date?

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for reaching out!

This report is designated by the date when the button "Mark Candidate as Hired" was clicked in the Candidate's profile, and not start date specified in offer details.

This is due to the fact that start dates often change and sometimes not even specified when an offer is made. Thus this report goes off the date a candidate was officially "Hired" within Greenhouse.
