I need to reschedule/cancel an interview. How do I do that?

If an interview needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, you can either reschedule/cancel within Greenhouse (if you are using Google Calendar) or within your own calendar. 

To do this within Greenhouse, navigate to the Stage tag and click Update.  

If you are rescheduling the interview, make your changes and then select Update Interviewers. If you are canceling the interview, simply select Delete Interview

If you would like do this within your own calendar (e.g. Outlook) to update the event invitation.  As long as calendar#@greenhouse.io OR schedule@ghcalendar.io is still listed as an invitee, and as long as the link to the Interview Kit is still in the description of the event, the change will be reflected in Greenhouse. 

Tip: Upon saving your changes to the event, it's a good idea to choose to send the update to all invitees.  If you don't, it may take a little longer to see the change reflected in Greenhouse.

    Is it possible to cancel an interview using Outlook? I tried cancelling the invite in Outlook but Greenhouse has not reflected this.

    Hi Naomi,

    When canceling an event in Outlook, you must select to update the guests and then delete the calendar event. This will then remove the event from Greenhouse.

    If you do not update the guests, then the event will get "stuck" in Greenhouse and remain there. From that point, you'll have leave the event and then skip it when it is set to occur. You can still schedule a new interview as usual, even though the old one still exists.

    Hi Ana!

    I recommend double checking if you've integrated Google Calendar with your GH account. If you're not connected, this might be causing the inability to view the "Update" button. You can do this by going to the Integrations tab. I've included this help article link below, as the first few steps include directions to connect your Google Calendar to you GH account.

    Hi,

    Is it possible to cancel an interview on greenouse without having to cancel it on outlook?
    We were trying out the schedualing system and now I need to delete it from the candidates profile, but I don't want to actually cancel the interview schedualed with outlook.

    Is there a way to reschedule multiple interviews at once?

    It would be ideal to see all the interviewer's calendars side-by-side (like when first scheduling) when rescheduling as I often work with 6-7 people's calendars for any given on-site interview.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    When rescheduling interviews in Greenhouse, updates would have to be made individually. There is not an "Update All" feature. I'll be sure to share this feedback with our product team as I see the value in having this option!

    If you use any calendar integrations such as Google Calendar or Outlook 365, updates made on those events would also sync with Greenhouse. This could be another way of rescheduling multiple interviews while being able to see the interviewer's full calendar.
