How to turn on new job boards
To verify that your job board has been migrated to the redesigned experience, go to Configure Job Boards (Configure > Job Boards). Depending on your job board setup, boards may or may not be migrated.
- Unstyled legacy boards: These have been automatically migrated, allowing you to start personalizing immediately.
- Styled legacy boards: Opt into the redesigned job boards and explore the new features.
To opt-in, select Board settings from the left navigation panel. Toggle the New job board switch to "On" to enable the redesigned features.
Then, select the job board you’d like to customize. You can customize up to 4 job boards for your organization.
Style and customization
To match your organization's branding, you can customize the colors, fonts, and buttons of the job board select Style & Customization from the left navigation panel. Here, you can modify colors, fonts, and button styles to reflect your brand identity.
Colors
Take full control of the text styles on your job board by selecting primary, secondary, accent and hover colors. You can use a preset theme or customize headers, buttons, and other text elements to match your brand’s style.
Choose colors for buttons, text, and fields by:
- Selecting from a dropdown
- Entering a hex code
- Or using a color wheel by clicking on the color
Tips for choosing colors
Brand alignment: If you’re working with an established brand, ensure that you’re using your organization’s color pallet with Alwane.
Contrast: Verify that your colors are visually distinct and that text will be legible with the Color Contrast Checker.
Inspiration: If you’re starting from scratch, get color pallet inspiration in Color Hunt and review an extensive list of colors and hex codes in Colorhexa.
Fonts
The redesigned job boards offer over 1,500 Google Fonts to help you match your branding. Fonts on the job board are grouped by primary and secondary font:
- Primary font applies to your job board title and headings.
- Secondary font applies to all other text on the board, including job name and location.
In the example below, the primary font is surrounded by an orange box. All other text is the secondary font.
Buttons
You can further personalize your job board by customizing button shapes and text:
Button Shape: Choose between Rectangle, Rounded Rectangle, or Pill shapes.
Button Text: Customize the Apply button text, which appears on the job post pages, allowing up to 25 characters.
Form field labels
The application page contains a series of fields for applicants to complete. Choose whether the labels appear inside or outside of the field.
