What's changed with reCAPTCHA? What is Invisible reCAPTCHA?

Question:

The CAPTCHA on the job applications form looks different and doesn't prompt for any action from the candidate.  Has something changed?

Answer:

Greenhouse has upgraded to Google's new Invisible reCaptcha. This will not require candidates to click on a checkbox as it tracks activity (ex. mouse movements and typing patterns) to determine if the user is a robot or not.  According to Google, only the most suspicious traffic will be prompted to solve a captcha.

How it will look like:

When a candidate clicks the button to submit their application, the following image will briefly appear:

After a few moments, it will be dismissed and their submission will be complete.
