I use Interviewing.io. What does the integration look like? How do I enable it?

With this integration, users will be able to source, access, engage, and track candidates from interviewing.io.

Part 1

 

  • Ask a Site Admin with Advanced permissions to log into Greenhouse
  • Have them select Configure > Users > Your Name
  • At the bottom of the page, select Can manage ALL organization's API credentials
  • Save
  • Repeat for anyone else that should have access

 

Part 2

Follow these steps to generate your API key:

  • Click the Configure tab
  • Click Dev Center
  • Click API Credential Management

 

On the API Credential Management page, click the Create New API Key button.

 

From the Client Application drop-down menu, select interviewing.io and enter a description for internal reference (although it is optional).

 

From there, send the API key over to your interviewing.io account manager to complete configuration

 

In interviewing.io

On your interviewing.io admin site, go to Settings. You’ll seen an Integrations tab with Greenhouse as an integration you can enable:

 

Once you enable the integration, you’ll need to set your API key (see instructions above) and a “Created by” email. This email must be an existing Greenhouse user in your org. All candidates coming from interviewing.io will look like this user created them in Greenhouse.

Candidates and their contact info will be added to Greenhouse at the end of every successful interviewing.io interview. In order for an interview to be considered successful, an interviewer must indicate in the feedback they leave that they would want to advance their candidate to the next round, like so:

 

The candidate, in turn, must also specify that they want to continue the process (this will almost always be the case because they’ve already expressed interest in your company!). 

A candidate’s info consists of:

  • Their full name
  • Their email address
  • Their LinkedIn
  • Any interview feedback left by your interviewer, in the following format:

 

Interviewed on interviewing.io by Interviewer Name on 9/28/17 (all numeric scores out of 4, where 4 is best): 

Technical skills: 4

Communication skills: 3

Problem solving ability: 3

Freeform feedback: "Really good overall!”
