We know that you want to have control over who can engage with new agencies, sign contracts, and invite new recruiters to your account. However, you also want flexibility so your team can add trusted agency recruiters to specific jobs.
To empower other users to share the responsibility of managing agencies, Greenhouse Recruiting uses two levels of permissions:
- A user-specific permission that enables Job Admins to invite and deactivate agency recruiters to your account
- A job-specific permission that enables Job Admins to add or remove agency recruiters on specific jobs where they have permission (Advanced and Expert customers only)
User-specific permissions: Invite and deactivate agency recruiters
To enable users to invite and deactivate agency recruiters, click on the Configure tab from your Dashboard. From the left-hand panel, click on Users and then an individual user from the list.
From the user's list of Permissions, click the checkbox next to Invite and deactivate agency recruiters. When you have finished, click Save.
Note: By default, only super users will inherit this permission.
When users with this permission navigate to the Agencies tab from the Configure page, they can now click on the Add Agency and Add Recruiter buttons. They will also be able to deactivate individual recruiters or deactivate entire agencies.
Job-specific permissions: Invite and deactivate agency recruiters on specific jobs
Note: This feature is only available for Advanced and Expert subscription tiers.
To give users permission to assign agencies to specific jobs, create a custom Job Admin level. From your Dashboard, navigate to the Configure tab, and from the left-hand panel click Permission Policies. Click Add Job Admin Level, and under the newly created Job Admin column provide a name for the permission level name.
After creating a name for the custom permission level, click Create, navigate down the list to the permission stripe Can add and remove agencies from jobs, and check the box for the custom permission level.
Any users with this custom Job Admin level will be able to Assign Another Agency to a job.
Additionally, the use can click on a recruiter’s name and can assign or remove jobs assigned to the recruiter. Job Admins will only be able to assign or remove agency recruiters on jobs where they have the job admin level with this agency permission enabled.
Note: By default, only super users will inherit this permission.
